This group met through Capilano University’s Jazz Studies Program, and found shared inspiration from artists like The Real Group, New York Voices, Astrud Gilberto, Samara Joy, and The Singers Unlimited.
Listeners can expect to hear high-flying bebop and swing era inspired music as well as original arrangements blending vocal jazz and elements of contemporary big band. PJC brings a fresh, playful, and swinging atmosphere in performance that all audiences can enjoy.
